Scott Jones
currently plays for the Puerto Rico Islanders of USL-1.Scott played in 32 games for the Dynamo (2004-06),
tallying 8 goals and 11 assists in his three seasons.He helped the 2004 squad to the PDL Eastern Conference
Title.The 2006 Dynamo team won the Regular Season National Championship, going undefeated with a 14-0-2
record.Scott was the first ever UNC-Greensboro player to make First Team All-Conference four times (2003-2006),
twice earning All-American honors.He is fifth all-time at UNC-G with 41 assists, and scored 25 goals in
his college career.
Scott
has played for the Puerto Rico Islanders starting with the 2008 season.He helped the Islanders reach the
semi-finals of the 2008-09 CONCACAF Champions League.Originally drafted by MLS club FC Dallas with the
28th pick in the 2007 SuperDraft, Jones spent the 2007 season on their Reserve Team – playing in every game,
starting all but one.
